What we collect, and why
This covers hellopomma.com: signing up for updates, ordering, and the statistics we keep about visits. Last updated 16 October 2026.
Who we are
Pomma is made by Roundbear Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 12858345), at Farthing Corner, Dean Road, West Tytherley, Salisbury SP5 1NR. Roundbear Ltd decides how your information is used. Questions or requests go to [email protected], and Ed reads them himself.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you sign up for updates or order. We use it to tell you when Pomma is ready, to confirm your order and to arrange payment and delivery.
- Whether you ticked “Email me Pomma news and offers”. We only send news and offers if you did. Every email has a way to stop them, or just reply.
- Your answers to the optional questions after signing up: who it’s for, an age band, what they use to message family now, and whether you’d talk to us. We use these to understand who Pomma is for, and to contact you if you said yes to a chat. We don’t ask for a child’s name in these questions. If you order, you can choose a name to emboss on the lid (see below).
- Your order: how many, the price, its status, the name you choose for each lid, who told you about Pomma if you say, and the delivery name and address you give Stripe. Stripe handles your card details; we never see or store them.
- Visit statistics, described below.
We use your email and order details to deliver what you asked for. We use your answers and the visit statistics because we have a legitimate interest in understanding what works and improving Pomma. We send news and offers only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Visit statistics
We count visits to learn which version of this page works better and which shared links bring people here. We record which page version you saw, how far down the page you got, whether you signed up or ordered, and whether you shared the page. We also record your device type, rough location (country and region) and the site that sent you.
We do this without cookies and without identifying you. We use PostHog, an analytics service hosted in the EU, set up so that nothing is stored in your browser. It counts unique visitors per day using a code that it can’t turn back into who you are, and it doesn’t keep your IP address. We also keep our own counts of the same steps.
If you arrive through a link someone shared, or you share the page yourself, your browser keeps a short code so we can tell which shares bring people in. It contains nothing about you.
You can turn visit statistics off for this device at any time. We then stop counting your visits and stop saving share codes. Your browser keeps one setting so that it remembers your choice.

Who else handles it
These companies process information for us, under contract, only to provide their service:
- Cloudflare hosts the website and its database.
- Brevo sends our emails.
- Stripe takes payments.
- PostHog provides visit statistics, from its EU servers.
Some of these companies may handle information outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards such as the UK’s international data transfer agreements. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Sign-ups and answers: until you ask us to remove you, or until Pomma stops being sold.
- Orders: six years after the order, because the law requires us to keep business records.
- Names for lids: deleted 30 days after your box is delivered. The name is embossed on the box, so we don’t need to keep them.
- Visit statistics: up to two years.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Email [email protected] and we’ll reply within a month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant and we have your email, we’ll tell you.
